Rest In Peace to a Rock Legend...

I got an email from Steve @ UK Vibe announcing that British Singer, Songwriter & Guitarist, John Martyn had passed this morning.

If you don't know who he is, check out the following YouTube clip + Wiki. He did amazing work over a span of 40 years.

John was also honored by the Queen on New Years with an OBE.

He will be remembered and I will be going onto iTunes today to download some of his tunes to play/reflect on in his memory.

i watched the news this morning with my dad and heard a brief clip about this.
a man was shot at fruitvale bart on new years. i wonder what was going on through that cops mind during and after.

i am grateful that my family and friends were safe on that evening and my heart goes out to oscar grant's family.
